The Goals of the Solution
-
The Goals of the Solution:The aim of the project is to systematically and comprehensively cover the issue of elimination of natural and contaminating inhibitory substances (IS) by dairy cows, event. goats, in these ways: - to define the functional status of animals with different IS excretion dynamics (natural and contaminating, in particular residues of veterinary drugs (VD)
- to identify the factors affecting excretion of IS, especially VD, in milk
- to assess the suitability of selected methods for detection of VD in milk with regard to milk quality and food chain safety
- to develop and validate new rapid detection methods of natural IS and determine its inhibitory potential and its effects on milk
- to propose measures to reduce the presence of VD residues in milk

-
Keywords:dairy cows; goats; milk; composition; technological quality; health of animals; metabolism; lactoferrin; lysozyme; veterinary drugs; residues of inhibitory substances, methods of detection; food safety chain
