The Science and Research Office with the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology coordinates research activities of the Faculty, facilitates current calls for submission of project applications, news on research activities, calls for award nominations, etc. In addition, the Office provides administrative support in preparation of applications, approval of the same at the level of the Faculty as well as across the whole University of South Bohemia. Last but not least, the Office is responsible for formal control, mediation of legal checks and entry into contracts at the level of the University of South Bohemia. All currently ongoing and completed projects are listed in the Grants and Projects section.

Administration considered, the S&R Office is also engaged in associate professorship and fullprofessorship procedures. These procedures are held in cooperation between the S&R Office and the Scientific Board. At a candidate’s suggestion, the S&R Office will carry out administrative actions necessary for the support of successful procedure for candidate appointment.
