Student Internships

Students of the Master's degree program Multifunctional Agriculture program are required to obtain credit for the course Professional Practice during the summer semester of their first year.

This is a four-week practical course held at the special-purpose facility of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The practice will take place according to a schedule determined by the responsible staff member of the facility.

Before starting the practice, students are required to become familiar with workplace safety regulations. During practical training, students must wear appropriate work clothing, footwear, and safety equipment.

After individual consultation with the course guarantor, it is possible to substitute the practical course with a successfully completed international internship, provided that the internship includes a practical component focused on agricultural production. Copies of the permit and confirmation of completion of the internship must be submitted to the Professional Practice course guarantor without delay.

Organizational matters and the awarding of credits for successful completion of the practice are managed by the course guarantor, Assoc. Prof. Ing. Marek Kopecký, Ph.D.
