The Goals of the Solution

  • The Goals of the Solution:
Main aim of the project is to propose and verify the technology of cultivation of winter wheat in a mixed culture (intercropping). Varieties of winter wheat will be sowed with legumes in the row-by-row system when legume will be the supportive crop and winter wheat the main crop. Further aim will be the design of varieties mixtures of wheat in order to achieve the optimal product quality and for the decrease of fungal diseases. Mixtures will consist of varieties with higher grain quality but lower resistance to diseases with varieties with higher resistance to diseases with lower grain quality. The aim of mixtures is the optimization of nutritious soil quality, erosion reduction, the yield stabilization and achieving of high production quality with reduced utilization of pesticides.
