The Goals of the Solution

  • The Goals of the Solution:
The main goal of the project is to create design know-how of wet protein concentration by way of oilseeds or a combination of wet and dry way (grinding, aspiration), focusing on annual sunflower and oilseed rape. Leguminous soybean will be used as a reference material, as we consider the preparation of extraction meal and protein concentrates from soybeans to be an industry standard. The input raw material for the proposed technology will be the dehulled expellers of the mentioned oilseeds, which is obtained by screw separation of the oil by a purely mechanical method. The research activities will lead to the construction of a "set of operational engineering tools" for individual steps of dry and wet protein concentration.
