The Department of Technology and Cybernetics of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology at USB hosted the international conference TECHNOFORUM "New Trends in Machinery and Technologies for Biosystems" this year. This forum brings together technical workplaces in agriculture from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, and Slovenia, with the organization rotating annually among these countries. This year, it was our faculty's turn to organize the event.
TECHNOFORUM 2024 took place from June 5th to 7th in the picturesque setting of the Kamínek guesthouse in the Novohradské Mountains. The conference program included presentations from representatives of individual workplaces, who shared the current status and plans of their institutions. The event also featured a scientific section where participants presented professional papers.
Participants also enjoyed a diverse cultural program. They visited the state chateau in Třeboň with its beautiful gardens and tasted local specialties at the Regent brewery. The meeting concluded with a trip to the picturesque Terčino valley.
