Presentation of Food Products at the Ingr's Days 2026 Conference
Representatives of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice participated in the 52nd International Conference “Ingr's Days 2026”, held during the first week of March at Mendel University in Brno (https://www.ingrovydny.af.mendelu.cz/en/).
The conference traditionally concentrates on issues related to the quality of food and food raw materials, providing a platform for meetings between experts from academia and the food industry. During the three-day programme, a thematic Milk Day was also organised, dedicated to current topics in the dairy sector and innovations in dairy products. The programme featured expert lectures and discussions focused, for example, on the global dairy industry, innovative dairy products, and fermented dairy products in relation to consumers.
Within the accompanying programme, food products developed at the Department of Food Biotechnology and Quality of Agricultural Products and at the Department of Applied Chemistry were also presented. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about these products and discuss their technological processing and sensory properties.
The conference took place in a very pleasant and inspiring atmosphere and provided an opportunity to share experiences and establish new contacts between academia and professionals from the food industry.
