Children's Day at the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of JU
The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the USB once again brought smiles to the faces of young celebrants at the traditional Children's Day event, which we celebrated together on May 31. Despite the unfavorable weather, the event attracted many children, parents, and grandparents who came to enjoy a day full of fun and learning.
The program was packed with entertaining attractions and educational games. Children could test their knowledge in recognizing field crops, peek into the world of gamekeeping, and watch a demonstration of hunting dog training. Both old and modern tractors were on display. For the little sweet tooths, there was cotton candy and homemade ice cream made from garden fruits and yogurt produced at our faculty. The kids expended their energy jumping on inflatable castles.
Another part of the program took place at the faculty farm, where children viewed the animals and dogs from the local shelter. Brave children rode horses around the entire area.
Despite the bad weather, the event was a success and the children fully enjoyed their day. We are already looking forward to next year when we will celebrate Children's Day together again!
