The Goals of the Solution

  • The Goals of the Solution:
    The aim of the project is to develop an on-line information system (IS) for monitoring, analysis and visualization of data of fluxes of phosphorus (P) compounds in surface waters. The IS will support decision-making of river basin managers, authorities, fish farmers and other stakeholders on the way to achieving a balanced P flow in pond systems and implementing good fishery practice. The project will develop a station for semi-continuous monitoring of P in the aquatic environment to serve as a data source for the IS. The IS will integrate measured data, outputs from satellite (RS) data analysis and other relevant data sources. The project will include analysis of innovative methods for identification and quantification of pollutant inputs to the aquatic environment using UAVs and RS.
