The Goals of the Solution

  • The Goals of the Solution:

The main objective of the project is to transfer biotechnological and molecular biological methods and procedures from academic laboratories to practical breeding, modify existing breeding programs with these modern methods and streamline the new breeding process.
    The project objectives are:

    1. Using innovative biotechnological procedures, identify and create initial genetic resources with resistance to stressors and include them in the breeding process
    2. Introduce new methodological approaches based on genomics and transcriptomics for the selection of genetic resources with resistance to stressors
    3. Implement methods based on the dihaploid system and resynthesis into the breeding process, specifically focused on the creation of materials with resistance to stressors
