From 15 to 17 October 2025, the Department of Technology and Cybernetics at the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, hosted colleagues from Riga Technical University, Latvia – Artūrs Lusis, Project Coordinator at the International Cooperation Department, and Ansis Avotiņš, Leading Researcher at the Institute of Industrial Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
During their visit, they met with representatives of the department to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the application of advanced technologies in agriculture and industry, the preparation of joint research projects at the European level, and collaborative publication activities.
The international guests also visited the International Relations Office, where they met with Ing. Lucie Káplová to discuss possibilities for mutual student and staff mobility.
The visitors were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. RNDr. Petr Bartoš, Ph.D., to whom they presented their proposals and visions for future collaboration.
This visit follows up on earlier contacts established through the participation of students from the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology in summer schools organized by Riga Technical University.
