The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology hosted Timothy Durham

The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology hosted Timothy Durham, a Doctor of Plant Medicine and Professor of Crop Science at Ferrum College (USA), for a guest lecture. The lecture, entitled “What’s wrong with my plant?”, introduced participants to the Doctor of Plant Medicine (D.P.M.) program and the principles of Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

During the presentation, attendees learned about the role of the “plant doctor” in diagnosing plant health problems, sustainable crop protection strategies, and the importance of integrated pest management in modern agriculture.

The lecture was followed by a discussion on study opportunities, research collaboration, and academic partnerships with American universities and research institutions. The event contributed to strengthening the faculty’s international connections and offered students and staff an inspiring perspective on current developments in plant science education and research.
