On 5 March 2026, the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic convened a meeting at the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The main subject of the meeting was the upcoming election of the President of the Agrarian Chamber. During this event, the current President, Ing. Jan Doležal, reflected on his achievements so far and outlined the future direction the Agrarian Chamber should pursue if he is re-elected.
The meeting also covered a discussion on the present and future cooperation between the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology.
The morning session was held in building M and was followed by the 24th Annual “Managerial, Marketing and Business Forum of Farmers, Food Producers, Rural Areas, Trade, Services, Banking and Insurance of the South Bohemian Region and the Vysočina Region”, which took place in the premises of building ZR.
Approximately 130 participants, primarily from the agricultural sector and including many graduates of the faculty, attended the event. The programme featured a diverse schedule of professional seminars, discussions, and guided tours of several workplaces at the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology and the University of South Bohemia.
The faculty appreciates that this traditional professional event could be held at its facilities and is pleased that the organisers regarded the meeting as a success.
