In September 2024, a collaboration was initiated with the University of Nebraska at Kearney (USA). During their visit to the university, the Vice Dean for International Relations, Ing. Mgr. Pavel Olšan, Ph.D., and the Head of the International Office, Mgr. Lucie Káplová, met with Chancellor Charles Bicak. The discussions focused on collaboration in student exchange programs and the potential for future scientific or project-based activities between the two institutions. This partnership opens new international opportunities for FZT students.
The faculty representatives also participated in several private-sector excursions:
- LandMark, a dealer of John Deere machinery,
- NebraskaLand Aviation, specializing in aerial spraying and the distribution of chemical protection,
- and visits to several local farms engaged in plant and animal production.
