The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice received an award in recognition of its long-standing cooperation with the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. The award was presented as part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the faculty in Nitra.
The ceremonial meeting of the academic community, which was the highlight of the year-long anniversary celebrations, took place on 10 September 2026 in the auditorium of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. The event brought together current and former staff members and academic representatives, alumni, representatives of Slovak and Czech universities, and partners from professional practice. The programme also included the presentation of awards to individuals and institutions that have contributed to the faculty’s development and cooperation.
Among the institutions honoured was FAT USB, which has maintained long-standing cooperation with the Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources in Nitra. The award highlights the strong partnership between the two faculties and their joint activities in education, science and research.
