The Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice has joined another international project under the Erasmus+ programme. From 12–15 January 2026, the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ KA220-VET – Cooperation Partnerships project entitled Increasing Awareness on Reducing Carbon Footprint through Trainings in IPARD Investments (CARBODIGIPARD) took place in Turkey.
The project is coordinated by the Agriculture and Rural Development Support Institution (TKDK) based in Ankara. The project consortium brings together universities and institutions from Turkey, Serbia, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic. The Czech partner is represented by the Laboratory of LCA of the Department of Agroecosystems at the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.
The CARBODIGIPARD project focuses on raising awareness of reducing carbon footprints through educational activities related to IPARD investments. It aims to support sustainable approaches in agriculture and rural development and to connect expert knowledge across European countries.
