Announcement of the elections

The Rector of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice has announced elections to the USB Academic Senate for the 2026–2029 term.

The elections will be held electronically. Their organisation and conduct are governed by the Electoral Regulations of the Academic Senate of the University of South Bohemia and the relevant provisions of the Higher Education Act.

For the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, the following members have been appointed to the Faculty Election Committee:

  • Ing. Jan Procházka, Ph.D. (Chair),
  • Mgr. Lukáš Holý (Vice-Chair),
  • doc. Ing. Eva Dadáková, Ph.D., and
  • Ing. Petr Kraus.

Information and schedule of the elections

Pursuant to Article 4(2) of the Election Rules of the Academic Senate of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Main Election Committee has set the date of the elections to the Academic Senate of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice as follows:

9 November 2026, from 8:00 a.m., until 10 November 2026, 4:00 p.m.

The elections shall be held at all faculties of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.

The number of senators to be elected from each faculty pursuant to Article 2(5) of the Election Rules of the Academic Senate of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice is: 3 academic staff members and 2 students. Each voter has a total of five votes: three votes for candidates from among the academic staff and two votes for candidates from among the students.

Information concerning the elections will be published:

  • on the official notice board of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice,
  • on the official notice board of each faculty.
