The Department of Agroecosystems at the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, University of South Bohemia, welcomed experienced researcher Dr. Gerhard Moitzi from the Experimental Farm Groß-Enzersdorf, Department of Crop Sciences, BOKU University Vienna, as part of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility program.
Dr. Moitzi, an expert in energy efficiency, organic farming, dairy farming, sustainable agriculture, agricultural engineering, and agronomy, delivered lectures for students of the Multifunctional Agriculture program. His presentations in the courses Biological Principles of Agriculture and Organic Plant Production focused on energy efficiency and sustainable crop production.
The visit also included collaborative work on grain sample processing in the laboratories of the Department of Agroecosystems, further strengthening the practical cooperation between the institutions.
