On Friday, April 11, 2025, the shooting range HELUZ in Šindlovy Dvory hosted the 2nd annual Shooting Competition for the Dean’s Cup of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology at the University of South Bohemia. The event took place under sunny but windy weather, which occasionally made the shooting conditions more challenging.
After the official opening, participants competed in the shotgun discipline "Hunting Round." Each shooter completed two rounds of 20 clay targets. The starting lineup included both experienced and less experienced shooters from among the faculty's students, staff, and guests.
Jan Hůda handled the difficult weather conditions best and took first place with a score of 28 hits. Jan Tesař finished second with 24 hits, and Jiří Chmel came in third, hitting 22 targets.
At the end of the event, all participants were awarded commemorative certificates and practical prizes by the Dean of the Faculty, as a token of appreciation for their participation and sporting spirit.
