From a meeting with students of Multifunctional Agriculture

On January 11, 2023, a meeting was organized with students of the master's study program in Multifunctional Agriculture, which the faculty offers in English. The aim of the meeting was primarily to inform the students about various study matters, but also to discuss with them their current experiences studying at our faculty.

In the current academic year, after a two-year break, the first year of the master's follow-up study was opened. For many students, it was very complicated to start their studies because they had to overcome several obstacles to obtain visas. Students from Thailand, Morocco, Syria, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Ghana are now enrolled in the first year.

The master's study program in Multifunctional Agriculture is entirely taught in English and is intended primarily for self-paying students. However, individual subjects are also chosen by incoming students within the Erasmus+ program. The study program is also included in the current program of the Government of the Czech Republic, which offers scholarships based on the Foreign Development Cooperation Strategy to support the study of foreigners from developing countries.
