On 23-24 November 2022, the constituent meeting of the International Boardof the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology of the University of South Bohemia in Ceske Budejovice took place. The meeting was attended by the Rector of USB, the management of FAT USB and members of the International Board of FAT USB from four EU countries. The whole event was held in a very professional and friendly atmosphere. Members of the IB FAT USB got acquainted with information about the faculty, visited some departments, the beer museum, toured the USB campus and ended the day with a social sitting at the Research Microbrewery of FAT USB.
The second day was marked by a discussion, which resulted in a number of valuable suggestions for further development of the faculty. At the end of the meeting, the members of the IB FAT USB highlighted the strengths of the faculty, such as modern fields of study, modern laboratory equipment and cooperation with companies, as well as opportunities for improvement that the faculty management will address in the future.
