International Meeting of Partners of the Erasmus+ CLIAVE-Climate Focused Agricultural Vocational Education Project
On May 23rd and 24th, 2024, the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, Department of Agroecosystems, hosted the final meeting of the members and partners of the Erasmus+ CLIAVE-Climate Focused Agricultural Vocational Education project (Project No. 2021-1-TR01-KA220-VET-000032974). This project brings together experts from various parts of Europe who focus on innovations in agricultural education with regard to climate change.
The project and the project meeting were attended by partners from the Atatürk Horticultural Central Research Institute and Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University from Turkey, the Institute of Agriculture and Forestry Maribor from Slovenia, the Institute for Animal Husbandry from Serbia, and the Iasi University of Life Sciences (IULS) from Romania. The main organizers were Associate Professor Jaroslav Bernas, Ph.D., Associate Professor Petr Konvalina, Ph.D., and Jaroslav Neumann, M.Sc.
The meeting program included project organization, evaluation of the current results, and a lively discussion on future cooperation. The meeting significantly contributed to strengthening the collaboration among the partners and opened new opportunities for the development of climate-focused agricultural vocational education.
