On the occasion of the visit to the Czech Republic, members of the parliamentary committee for food, agriculture, and cocoa from the Republic of Ghana visited our faculty (link). Her Excellency, the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana in Prague, Doris Adzo Denyo Brese, also joined the meeting (link).
Assoc. Prof. Konvalina and Dr. Olšan presented the faculty activities to the guests on the premises of the faculty microbrewery. Then, there was a tour of the faculty's research facilities; the Department of Agroecosystems doctoral students prepared samples of analyses in cereal quality and soil organic matter. Another part of the program included demonstrations of the activities of DeLaval's International Training and Development Center and computer modeling of the Department of Technology and Cybernetics.
The meeting aimed to present the faculty's activities and obtain contacts for the future development of cooperation in the pedagogical and scientific fields.
