The Study Programme Committee constitutes one of the tools for quality assurance of the educational process. The Committee’s task is to ensure the quality of the study programme, to submit suggestions for prospective improvements of instruction in individual subjects and adjustments of syllabi.
The Committee’s activities and composition are regulated in the Rector’s Measure No. R 361 dated 12 September 2017. Guidelines regarding the composition and activities of the Study Programme Committee comply with the rules of the system of quality assurance in educational, creative and related activities and the internal quality assessment of educational, creative and related activities of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.
The Committee is established for each study programme of the University of South Bohemia separately. The Committee is appointed to an appropriate extent by the guarantor of the given study programme as early as during the preparatory phase of a new study programme (accreditation plan). Importantly, the guarantor uses only experts who are to be involved in teaching within the study programme for its establishment at any given time. In the case of a professionally oriented study programme, also experts from practice will be invited. Alternatively, activities may be consulted with students of related study programme or prospective employers.
The members of the committee can be found in the details of individual study programmes in the IS/STAG system.
